5 Questions to Nyo Jinyong Lian — Fiction for Remaking Society
Fisheye Magazine, August 2025
👉Read the interview here
In August 2025, Fisheye Magazine published a feature interview with me about my series Trust Me.
The conversation reflects on fiction as a tool to rethink society and invisible norms.
I speak about my layered identity as Hakka, Chinese, queer, and an artist living in France.
Through staged fables, my work questions power, truth, and subjectivity.
Rather than offering answers, the images invite viewers into open dialogue.
The article also highlights my recent exhibitions in Arles and the Jeunes Talents 2025 award.
